The Team Manager is an adult (often a parent or teacher) who teaches the creative process and helps keep the team on track, but does not assist or interfere with the team’s solution. Team Managers get access to valuable resources to help them along the way—a Team Manager Roadmap, as well as a catalogue of online learning modules they can access at their own pace. The Ohio Destination Imagination South West Region provides an in-person team manager training in October.
All teams are required to provide one 2 hour volunteer to serve on the day of the tournament. Examples of volunteer assignments are performance room door monitors, activity station monitor, silent auction monitor, and tournament sales table volunteer. Volunteers are scheduled at a time that will ensure you are available to watch the team's performance.
Please let your team manager know if you would be willing to assist on tournament day. If you are not affiliated with a team and would like to volunteer on tournament day, please use the link below to register as an at large volunteer.
All teams are required to provide one all day appraiser to serve on the day of the tournament. Appraisers must attend appraiser training on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 9:00am - 12:00 pm. Fun pants, shoes, and crazy hats are encouraged.
